A canteen style option at the Barbican centre. This is situated on the ground floor. It has a number of options. Generally healthy and prepared food. Good quality and reasonable prices. Staff friendly and service very good. Plenty of seating and free condiments. Great views over the small lake outside. Highly recommend this for quick service

I’ll give you 5 stars! We visited Barbican Kitchen on Saturday and had a great experience. The atmosphere was lovely, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food options were impressive – from salads you can build yourself to hot sandwiches, street food, pizza, hot dishes, and a great variety of sweets. I have a gluten intolerance, and I really appreciated the way the staff handled my inquiry. An allergen champion was called immediately and gave me all the information I needed. I also value the honesty – they don’t label items as “gluten-free” unless they truly meet the standard, which makes a big difference for those who know and care. Special mention to the person at the pizza section – very kind and welcoming. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend Barbican Kitchen.

I visited Barbican Kitchen yesterday and had a really pleasant experience. The setting is lovely—right by the Barbican Centre with views of the ponds, a perfect spot to relax before a performance. I ordered the pizza, and it was genuinely good—fresh, nicely cooked, and full of flavour. It’s canteen-style, but the quality surprised me in a good way. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. It’s a great casual place if you’re in the area, especially for a light meal or a quick bite before a show. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m at the Barbican.

I was genuinely impressed by the quality of food and service here. For the type of setup in the Barbican Centre, it really exceeded expectations. The prices are fair and pretty average for London, and considering the central location, it feels well balanced. Customer service was absolutely lovely. A friendly guy with a long braid greeted us with a big smile, clearly explained how everything worked, and even helped me decide what to try. At the food counter, another staff member with glasses and hat was polite and pleasant! Both made the experience so much better. The food itself was fresh, very tasty, and well thought out. Lots of healthy options, including great vegan choices. The salad counter looked especially appealing. All in all, a fantastic experience. Well done to Benugo, I’ll definitely be back!

I had dinner there yesterday, and it was really good. I ordered the salad—and honestly, it was delicious. Super fresh, great flavors, and way better than I expected. If you haven’t been yet, I’d definitely recommend checking it out. I’ll be back for sure!

Hidden gem — exceeded all expectations! From the moment we walked in, everything just felt right. The vibe is relaxed but stylish, with a lovely buzz in the air. We were greeted with genuine smiles, and the service throughout our meal was spot on — friendly, fast, and really attentive without hovering. The food? Absolutely delicious. Every dish felt well thought-out, with bold flavours and great portion sizes. You can tell the kitchen team knows what they’re doing — everything tasted fresh and cooked to perfection. It’s also worth mentioning how clean and well-organised everything was, from the dining space to the small details. It’s clear that standards are kept high, and it really adds to the overall experience. Can’t wait to return ,Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for quality.

I visited Barbican Kitchen Restaurant this Saturday and was truly impressed. Despite how busy it was, the service was excellent from start to finish. I ordered pizza, salad, and a matcha from drink menu – everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The staff were kind, helpful, and smiling, even in the heat and rush. The person at the till and the team at the salad station really stood out for their great attitude and efficiency. It’s my third time visiting this place, and each experience has been consistently positive. I truly recommend it , the food is wonderful, the service is outstanding, and I’ll definitely be coming back Well done Barbican Kitchen!
